Since 2021, FORVIA has supplied complete vertical hydrogen storage systems delivered as pre-tested plug & play modules for quick and safe in-vehicle integration. These systems are pre-assembled in a frame and are composed of several type 4 cylinders as well as auxiliaries, piping and sensors. The vertical systems are suitable for installation behind the cabin of the vehicle and adaptable to 35 or 70 MPa pressure level.

FORVIA is also a pioneer in complete Type 4 horizontal tank storage systems installed under the floor of light commercial vehicles, for optimized payload, available space and autonomy. Pre-assembled in a frame composed of auxiliaries, piping, sensors and several tanks designed and homologated for a pressure of 70 MPa, these systems can be easily and safely mounted in the vehicle.
